Vyepti®
What is Vyepti®?
Vyepti® is an intravenous (IV) infusion therapy used for the preventive treatment of migraine in adults. It works by targeting and blocking calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP), a key protein involved in triggering migraine attacks through inflammation and blood vessel changes in the brain. By blocking CGRP, Vyepti® helps prevent migraines before they begin, reducing their frequency, intensity, and duration.
How much does Vyepti® cost?
The cost of Vyepti® varies depending on your insurance plan and provider. At Rocky Mountain MS Clinic, our team is dedicated to helping patients receive affordable, high-quality care.
We work with most major insurance providers in the Intermountain region — including Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, Select Health, Tricare, and others — as well as Medicaid and Medicare.
We handle prior authorizations and benefits verification and personally assist patients with copay and foundation support programs to reduce out-of-pocket costs.
How does Vyepti® work?
Vyepti® helps control migraines by inhibiting CGRP, a protein linked to migraine-related inflammation and pain. This mechanism reduces how often migraines occur and how severe they become over time. Given through IV infusion just four times per year, Vyepti® provides a convenient and long-lasting preventive treatment option.
